Launch Issue

DVDit Pro 6, WinXP SP2, Windows Media Player 10, DirectX 9.0c

 

Software loaded without an error. I reboot and try to launch the application. The splash screen appears briefly but then disappears. Application doesn't launch, no error on screen, no error in the Event Viewer.

Did you have any anti-virus software running when you installed it? If so, you should try a reinstall with the anti-virus software shut down. (Open up MSConfig and disable all)

 

It also happens when dlls are registered incorrectly. Unfortunately, I don't know which dlls those would be, so you can either wait for someone who does, or you can try the reinstall, and reinstall to the default C:/Program Files/... directory.

Advising someone to install with antivirus software disabled these days is highly unacceptable....but I'll try.
