Michael Moore says it's ok to download his movie

I guess he had to find some way to get people to watch "Sicko".

[opinion only]

I personally wouldn't waste the download bandwidth, and wouldn't watch any more of his ordure if you paid me, unless you paid enough to significantly improve my lifestyle for a very long time. [/opinion]

Cheers,

Brendon

I'm hoping if I look at him long enough, I'll start looking like him. Doesn't everybody want to?

Eeeek! No!

Sicko is the name of the movie.

It's about all the uninsured people in the United States and their inability to get medical care.

I'm withholding judgment on whether I'll see it until the movie reviews come out.

The only movies I have been to a theater to see in the last 18 years were:

1. One Star Trek sequel around 1991 (a little nostalgia)

2. Bowling for Columbine

3. Fahrenheit 911

I haven't even seen An Inconvenient Truth because I know that it glosses over the perpetrators and would just pi$$ me off.

Yeah, Michael Moore is the only draw for which I will suffer the torture of a theater experience (including a good set of ear plugs).

BTW, I have never rented a movie for home use either. What a waste of time.

FWIW, perhaps my all time fav was Koyaanisqatsi (1982).

Just got this review of SiCKO in my inbox.

I'll probably skip this one. Not because of MM but because of the topic. Even if there were universal coverage and access for all, we'd be stuck with the same Western reductionistic medical mentality. I couldn't bear to watch these people being herded through the medical system like cattle through a chute. Personally, I'd rather be dead than doctored than drugged with Western medicine.
