tbrewst
External?
REDWAGON
I assume Terry that the OP means "DISC" burner when using the word "Deisc". And maybe is just using the Roxio part meaning that he wants to burn something with the Roxio program (???). External may be the right guess. If so I wonder if it's a USB, Firewire or ??? type burner ? and he needs a certain type of cable for that ? Guess, guess, guess Frank...
Guest ml
Hi Can any one tell me where I can obtain a new 110ac power lead for my Roxio Deisc Burner The power supply cords for most burners are easily replaced. If you have an external burner, you should be able to turn it over and see what kind of 'input' is required. (volts, etc.) Then you take that information to a place that sells computer equipment and they should be able to supply you with the correct cord. Or just take the burner with you when you visit the store. Roxio does supply software that comes with burners and at one time, they sold burners on the website. gi7omy
Actually mains leads aren't rated by voltage at all - it's the current they carry that determines the amount of copper required. At a guess, the OP is looking for a complete power supply that operates on 110 volts rather than a lead for one. They're standard anyway (the IEEE 'kettle' connector, the 'figure 8' and so on) Check the current requirements for the device (usually marked as xxA or xx Amps or mA/milliAmps) and ask your local hobby electronics supplier for one of at least that rating (higher is fine - lower isn't)
REDWAGON
Sure would be nice if the original OP came back with some additional information for us. He has received several replies now and I would think that he would be curtious enough to come back and give us a little more information. What say whitto 100 ??? Frank...
