Rayi
I noticed that Roxio 9 does not seem to have DVD info pro to check for cyclic redundancy check (CRC). Is this tool only in Roxio 9 deluxe? thanks
sknis
I can't seem to find DVDInfo Pro in my package at all! I purchased a download, and my receipt says "Easy Media Creator 9 Suite", but it is not in Applications or Tools. When I check the "About" tab under the Help menu, it says that it is "Roxio Creator 9 Home". I thought I was buying the entire suite! What's up with that!!! Are there more than one version of the "Suite"? Bob Did you do a custom install? Perhaps one of the things that were not chosen to install had that included. Also, it is possible that since you had it installed with V7, it did not install over the earlier version. Did you install EMC 9 over EMC 7? Ooops - wrong poster; that is what happends when you post a simimilar problem to someones else's thread. Best to start your own thread with your particular problem since we don't know if you had an earlier version loaded or not. That "home" window that pops up when you click "about". Has fooled many people. In earlier versions, the version number were for the home page only and not the applications. You had to open VideoWave, My DVD or other to get the version number. Look at the pretty orange splash screen when you open the program. It should look like this. The easiest way to tell if it is the Suite or the Deluxe Suite is to look in the box. If you got the DVC 90, then it is the Deluxe Suite.
ggrussell
DVDInfo Pro is a 3rd party application licensed by Sonic/Roxio. It is included with EMC 9 Suite standard and deluxe versions. I have no idea if it is included with other packages like MyDVD Studio or MyDVD Studio Premier.

ggrussell
Does your box say 'Easy Media Creator 9'? Personally, I never use the 'Home' application. Click Start > Programs > Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 > Tools > DVD Info Pro
tbrewst
I think that's where the problem lies Gary. It's not in the Home app only in the Tools section from the Start menu. I'm wrong ,it is in the Home app, just not under Tools.Have a look.
