Brendon
Hello Elvira, No, the old version Six will never be made Vista compatible. You'll need 9.1 or better for that. Regards, Brendon
lynn98109
Depending on what you use the program for, Vista can do SOME of the things that traditionally required a third-party burning program. Like WinXP, it can burn data and music CDs. I understand it can also burn data DVDs. However, if you are doing something like Videos, you would definately need a third-party burning program, such as Easy Media Creator 9.1. Brendon
Oh, Hi Lynn, I didn't know you were running Vista or 9.1 How are you finding them? Are they working together properly? Regards, Brendon
Elvira
Thanks You Two: I won't be doing Videos, but I be getting a Dell PC with W Vista Ultimate in a few days, but I been Hearing and Reading that 9 is the pits regardless of what version, so perhaps I will try it and leave All Faithful-1 on my old HP that is 7 years old and start bringing the Fatal Blue Screen too often, so Wish me Luck I'll be need it, I'm a bit familiar with Vista, will call Dell and see what version they have and tell then to add 9??. But I'm so used to 6, that I may be working back and forth from one PC to the other, till the HP go to PC's Dump.

Just my 2 cents Elvira but, seeing how your computer is old and you appear to need a new system, you can always do what many are doing (including me) and have both XP and Vista on one system. Yes, more expensive but if you still want to move to Vista but like programs that will only run in XP, this way you can have both if you so choose to.
