Output Settings

In the user guide, the section on burning projects to disc, says click Output settings to choose output settings. If you need more information click the help button in the output settings dialog box. Where is output setting dialog box located? I printed out the illustration of music disc creator page showing various selections avaliable. Nowhere can I find output settings. I may just not understand what they are saying or I'm missing it altogether. I would appreciate assistance with this matter.

You only mentioned Music Disc Creator so I'll assume this is the app you are using. There is no 'OUTPUT SETTING' with this app. Make sure you are reading the correct section in the manual or Help file.

 

Music Disc Creator does what it says - creates discs. The 'output' is controlled by what type of project you have chosen. If you are creating an MP3 disc, then just click FILE / Project Settings. There you can choose many options like Disc name, playlist, etc. To control bitrate, click Options in that dialog box.

The only thing close I can think of in Music Disc Creator is when you are making a Music DVD you have 3 choices as to what kind of format the disc is made in.

1. Click Output Settings to choose output settings.For more information, click the Help button in the Output Settings dialog box.

    

2. Click the Burn button.The Burn Setup dialog box appears.

    

3. To create a disc image file, select Save disc image file, and then click Browse to select the location for the disc image file. Otherwise, to burn the project to disc, do not select this check box.<a name="wp1194683">

   Of course nowhere is there an Output Settings button,you have to hit Burn.

Depending on the project 'type', there are some settings for each: audio CD, MP3 Disc and DVD music disc. I would consider those 'output settings' which I would select before I burned. Each different type has it's own project settings that can be changed. Guess we won't know until the OP responds.

Perhaps the OP is talking about burn settings. You can change some of those and you can also create an image file to burn later.
