Most parts of easy media creator 9

Tetsuya

Question

To start I have the full package and to save time I will say what does open, the Creator Classic opens but thats all. Any time I open the rest I get an error saying that "<program name> has stopped working, check online for solution or close the program" and when I select check online it closes the program and I'm back to the Creator 9 Home. I already ran that one driver upgrade file for the drage to disc but all the programs act the same.

Troubleshooting steps taken:

-Uninstall and reinstall the program entirly

-made sure all PC drivers are up to date

-ran driver update file for the comon bug of blocked driver

-checked for all other updates

System information

Dell XPS M1710 Notebook

-Intel pentium 2 dual t7600 2.33GHz

-2GB SHARED DC DDR2 SDRAM 677MHZ,2 DIMM

-nVidea GForce GO 7950 GTX 512MB graphics

-160GB 5400RPM SATA HDD

-8X DVD+/-RW DRIVE,XM1710

-INTEGRATED HD AUDIO,INSPIRON

-Windows Vista Ultamate 32bit

Any idea what the issue is so I can fix it? The computer is still mostly on its factory defaults (haven't done much to the system yet)

Do you have Office 2007 Enterprise edition installed? Your problem sounds exactly like mine. There appears to be some issue between Roxio 9 and Office 2007 Enterprise on vista. (I have them both on an XP machine and everything works fine - so appears to be vista-related). There are a few other posters who have experienced the issue with Office 2007 and Roxio 9 running side-by-side on vista. If you do have office 2007, try uninstalling office and see if that makes a difference. As for a fix, I guess that really depends on whose fault this is - microsoft or roxio?
