desktop capture widget and pre-roll feature

I downloaded an upgrade from Sonic MyDVD. I can't find the desktop capture widget nor the pre-roll feature? Could someone help?

If you upgraded to MyDVD 9, it doesn't have those features.

I too have sigma tel and I found that my volume was set to zero. I don't know if that is your problem, but you might want to check it. I found your message by searching for pre-roll. I too am having difficulty finding the pre-roll and desktop capture widget feature. I have a different product than you, however. I have easy media creator suite 9 and it says on the box that I am supposed to have them. I hope your problem is only the volume setting.

Thanks. I am getting closer to understanding my problem

 

I did upgrade to EMC 9 Suite. Now I have found the widget and pre-roll feature.

 

What I want to do is capture streaming Internet radio and any audio playing on my computer.

 

With 'Easy Audio Capture' I can capture from SigmaTelAudio and choose input from Microphone, Rear MIC and Line In. None seems to allow me to capture the audio that is just playing on my computer.

Some audio chips do not have the inputs for capturing streaming internet audio. Sounds like the SigmaTel does not.

 

For example, Sound Blaster card have 'record what you hear'. My RealTek has the option of recording the 'stereo mix'. Other audio chips may call it something else.
