Brand New to EMC9

missannie

Question

I was successfully using Easy CD Creator 5.1 (I think) until it crashed twice so I removed it. Roxio support said I needed EMC9 so I bought and installed it today. I am desperate to update two MSWord documents that I saved using the old program. I've been trying to get this done for almost a week now and am at my wit's end. I thought using EMC9 would solve the problem but it has only made it worse. I've looked in the User Guide and just get more confused.

Can anyone just give me the keystrokes to save a MSWord document to a CD-R using EMC9?

Keystrokes? Your best bet is to start up Creator Classic and browse to where you saved your doc and copy it to cd that way.

Open Creator Classic from the start menu, drag the document(s) you want into the bottom pane and click on 'burn'

Simple as that

I would recommend tho that you save the file as an image to the hard drive - that way you will be sure that the disc is finalised and can be read in any computer. Just open the resultant .iso file with disc copier and it will make the disc for you. Repeat the process with disc copier for the number of copies you may need (there's a known issue that stops it from doing multiple copies and they all need to be done individually, but you always did have to manually change discs anyway)
