insignia
hi friends, i've just upgrade my OS to windows vista and with the Roxio Creator Basic 9 as the bundled burning software. It appears that it doesn't work when you are not connected to the internet. Is there some kind of bug or something? if yes, does anyone know how to fix it? is there something wrong with my system or the program's settings? or is it just how it is? if so... Why??? =P peaceout pips, hope you could help me, Godspeed to y'all
gi7omy
Can I guess that you got this with a computer from one of the larger box-shifters? This has cropped up before and it seems some machines do have this problem with the bundled software. Why this should be so, none of us has any idea beyond that it may be something that the computer maker has modified. However, having said that, the main home menu will connect (this is normal in the full version) and it's for announcements, etc
John at Roxio
Yeah, some OEM versions of the software exhibited this behavior. You may want to check with your computer manufacturer for details on the what and why or if there are any updates that will allow you to use the software when you are not connected to the web.
