zion
Hi. My slideshow has only 40 pictures, 1 music file and text captions but is 80MB! I had uploaded it to my website but I want to upload more but want it to be smaller in MB size not in screen size ... Only then, I do not know how to do that ... can anyone teach me? Also, I purchased some photos from royalty free sites, and from the license, they say that I can not exceed 800 pixels ... how do I make sure that I dont go beyond that? Thank you in advance! Zion I'm assuming that you have a web site and you are not talking about something like Utube. From VideoWave, output your slide show as a WMV file - chose the size based on how small the file to be. The file will compress to a smaller file size but you will lose some definition. As an alternate, output it to a DV file and then use Disc Copier to output it to a H264 AV (Quicktime readable). It is easier to do the WMV file since people with IE will be able to see it in WMP. Firefox users can use a plug in. Go here and look at the pan and zoom video - text only since that will give you an idea of how much the compression will effect the video. Do not look at the movie of the screen shot -- that was captured using a different program and then converted before compressing it.

I will need to go slow understanding all this but I will try. Thank you!
