I Can't burn DVD's in Toast 8.0.1

Hi there,

 

I'm using a G5 mac running 10.4.10. I previously had no problem writing DVD's from EyeTV using Toast 8, but I upgraded to Toast 8.0.1 yesterday and now can't write DVD's for some reason.

Toast does all the encoding and then gets to the point where it's filling the RAM Cache and then it just stops and reverts back to the main application window.

 

Any ideas???

It's possible that Toast wasn't able to awaken the drive when it came time to start the burn. Try this. Instead of clicking the burn button choose Save as Disc Image from the File menu. When that is complete choose the resulting .toast file with the Image File setting in the Copy window to burn your DVD.
