Add Files Does Not Get Completed

Hi There,

 

I have OEM version of Sonic MyDVD Plus installed on my recently purchased HP desktop having Windows XP Media Center edition service pack 2. I have also downloaded software update from HP's website meant for MyDVD Plus. The version of MyDVD shown is 7.

 

I have some DVR-MS files which I have recorded using my TV Tuner card. While creating a new DVD project using MyDVD Plus, I select any of these files (whether 10 Mb or 800 Mb size), there is a dialog box which appears saying "Adding files". This box shows progress by 2 green bars and there after it does not do anything. The program remains like that for hours together without any progess.

 

Has anyone faced any such problems while adding files in DVD project?

Have the same problem.

 

Bought a new DELL notebook that came with an OEM version of MyDVD (don't know the exact version).Suffered this problem trying to add files to a project from a dvd created from my camcorder (vob files). After hours of frustration, uninstalled this OEM version and installed an original version of MyDVD (6.1.6) I received with my camcorder. This hasn't solved the problem - still doing the same thing.

 

Any assistance or advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
