Question

I just bought easy media creator 9 to make yearend slide shows for my kids classes but when I burn the disk many of the photos cut out and flash. It is all fine on the computer when I preview it but once it is burnt it has problems I even tried different brands of dvds but still not working. I have no idea what I am doing

What kind of video card do you have? MyDVD/Videowave uses the video card extensively. It is important to have updated drivers and the latest DirectX to function properly.

Well I don't even know what a video card is so maybe I am in a little over my head. How are you supposed to get your drivers updated?

davis5,

in xp go to start, right click my computer, left click properties. The system properties box opens, click the Hardware tab, then Device Manager. This opens Device Manager Window, from the top, view, make sure Devices By Type has the dot next to it. Click the + next to Display Adapters and list what it says.

Is the pc a Laptop or Desktop?

It's a Mother Board Controler not a stand alone video card. Go here and follow the directions on updating the Graghics Controller. Update

Open Videowave or MyDVD tools at top and look for a Graghics Test set it for software rendering.

A Standalone video card could be a improved update for your system. Tell us more about your PC? Or go here and let this program gather the info to post here. Download Belarc Advisor

Is it working? If not uncheck burning to a disc and burn to a ISO Image on your HD. Then open disc copier and burn the ISO Image to your DVD.

YES! Thank you very much I got all 22 copies done and they turned out perfectly. I have no idea what I would have done without your help. It is nice to know that there are people who are so willing to help out.

I am wondering if there is a faster way to burn the dvd . each one I did took about half an hour and they aren't even that long to play. I am just happy mine turned out ok but next time if I could do it faster it would make my life alot easier. Thanks again

Dawn
