NVIDIA Graphics card

I just installed EMC 9. When I opened video wave and tried to add some pictures, the computer crashed. When I restarted the computer, I got a message from microsoft that the problem was caused by the NVIDIA graphics driver. Why is this incompatible? Is there a solution?

Go to www.nvidia.com and download and install the latest driver for your card.See it that fixes it.

Also, go to Microsoft and download and install the latest (June) version of DirectX 9.0c. That is never included with updates and has to be manually downloaded

I am also experiencing issues launching Media Manager 9 using a Nvida Gefore FX5600.

 

I am getting the 1706, dao.msi prompt error and have already tried un-reging and re-reging the dao360.dll file. This issue specifically states it only affects ATI cards but figured I would try anyways.

In your case then, since it's a different problem than the OP's, go into Add/Remove programs and uninstall DAO.
