Sound Editor

JayVee

Question

I have been using EMC ver 7 for a few years now and in Sound Editor when you play the file you can have the cursor stationary and the audio display scroll behind it. I might be missing something but in EMC ver 9 (just purchased) it appears you can only have a moving cursor which is of little help if editing with high zoom levels, hopefully I am missing something!!! Any ideas?

Re-install Sound Editor from V7 back on your computer.. The two versions should get along. Sound Editor changed in V8 to a completely different display.

It takes a bit of getting used to but after you do, it works just as easily. Notice the bottom of the Sound Editor window - Mix Editor. You have a bit more navigational control there. and you can zoom in or out there also. Use the upper and lower windows in conjunction with each other.

Thanks for the prompt reply I will bear with it for the time being, bound to get used to it.

Thanks
