Poor audio quality DVD Slide Show

I have used an MP3 for the back ground sound in a slide show. After burning the DVD, I played it back on my computer and it sounds fine. When I play this DVD through the TV, it is totally flat. The TV sound on everything else is great. In "project settings", I have selected " Dolby Digital AC3". Is there anything else I need to be doing?

It's possible your TV can't handle it - what happens if you use 'standard' audio instead of the Dolby?

My Project Settings Audio choices are: Dolby Digital AC3, MPEG, and LPCM??
