daveglenn13
Yes v9. I guess i'm not explaining well. I will post image when i'm done with work. Can't do that at the present time. that won't be for a couple of hours. thanks again. Hope this helps. I chose options on bottom left. then audio cd. and it says "normalize tracks to a consistent level" thats were i have the option for 0 to 100 %. if I chose 100% will the lower songs be more to the level of the louder songs? Beerman
Ahhhh, now I understand! What you show is the Home menu. My confusion was that there is an app in the Data area called 'Creator Classic' which is the wording you used in your earlier post and that app use to make audio cd's in v7 but no longer does and that's what I thought you might be using. Now that I see your screen shot, you are using the Audio CD function from the Home Menu and now, back to your original question. According to the help section, "A setting of 90 percent, for example, sets the volume of all tracks in the current project to 90 percent of the loudest song" Mine is set to off but if I click the box, it's defaulted to 90%. You might want to try a cd or 2 with this set to off to see if you actually need this. Thanks for posting the image as I was very confused as to exactly what you were talking about. Beerman
Yes Frank, that's it. I don't use the Home menu as I use Music Disc Creator but still rarely need to normalize my audio. If you notice, should you set the box active, it's automatically set to 90%. I believe this is something you need to play with and test to see what works best and will need to change depending on the quality of each song. Beerman
When Burning Cds. Should it be set at 50% 80% or maybe 100%. What is the difference? I rarely use this feature but have found using Music Disc Creator's volume Maximizer better. While in MDC, go to File/Project settings and check the box to maximize volume for each track. I'm sorry I should have said. but I am using creator classic. when I go under options it gives me the option to go to 0% to 100 %. I've never been able to get the CD text to write on my cds in music disc creater so I don't use that unless its live music.
