CineMagic Fails to Open

I've just reinstalled EMC 9 Deluxe and now CineMagic will not open at all. When I click the link on the EMC 9 Deluxe "Home" page, there is no response at all. I have done a reinstall to repair the program from Windows XP Pro SP 2's "Add or Remove" panel, but nothing has changed.

Did you install V9 over V8? I had a problem when I did that. Solved by an uninstall of both, clean registry, re-install. Try this first. In Windows Add or Remove, click on the product name and a small window will open. One of the options there will be to repair. For some reason that worked better for me than the repair from the right side.

 

You can try to open CineMagic from the Windows.Start>Programs> Roxio ..... path or from inside VideoWave.
