deleting project folders

I saved a DVD project created in MYDVD ver 7 and now I am finished with the project and want to delete the files and folders called "source". I have the files in My Docs on the hard drive and when I try and delete it won't delete and gives an error "cannot remove folders: the directory is not empty". However, it is - for some reason the first folder contains 19 other folders but when i click through all of them no files show up. Its like it created a new folder every time I saved instead of writing over the old one. I just want to delete the folders. Any help is very appreciated. More info - it is an HP notebook running Windows XP.

figured it out - for some reason the paths were too long. As stated it appears every time i saved the project it created a new folder and the paths became too long. I had to go to the end of the path and start deleting from the back end. not sure why it does this but i am trying a reinstall.
