Problem getting DVDs to play on DVD Player

I can burn a DVD from an ISO image and everything works fine. When I burn from the VIDEO_TS directory using *.VOB files the DVD won't play on a DVD player (but it will play on my PC.) I am using the same disks for both types of burns.

 

I've tried looking through the manual & help, but I can't seem to find the answer.

 

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I live in the USA. How can I tell what the files are before I burn the DVD?

 

Load your video_ts on the video complication source side. Then on the destination side, is the format set for DVD? Click the options and tell me what the output profile, general, DVD, and video file conversion settings are?

Be sure to use the Disc Copier module when burning from video files in order to format the burned dvd properly for playback on standalone dvd devices.

Is it possible this is a difference between PAL and NTSC? How can I tell what the files are before I burn the DVD?

 

The error I get on the DVD player says "Incorrect Disc"

Yes, try options, video file conversion, video format, Ntsc or Pal. Where in this big world do you live?

I am using Disc Copier with a Sony DL DVD writer and Sony DVD+Rs.

 

I select the input of "Video Compilation" and output to a Disc/Disc Image.

 

I just use the default settings.
