how to save a snapshot photo from video

I have just finally installed my Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 Suite. I bought it several months ago, and am now hoping to use it for a purpose other than why I originally got it. I recorded a video on my digital camera at my daughters recital. Now I am hoping that I can pull off individual frames to print as photos. Can I do this using this program? Please be kind in understanding that I just installed this program and am not familiar with how to use it yet. So if I can do what I am wanting could you please give easy to understand instructions. Thanks in advance

Yes you can but understand that the highest quality is going to me 720 X 480, which is what video is recorded at…

 

Use the media selector to locate the file, then right click and there will be a choice of capture a frame. (wording may be a little different, I am in the middle of a capture so I cannot check)

 

You can then scroll through to find the frame you want and capture it.
