Roxio Media Experience lock-up

Even after a clean reinstall and also the buffer patch (which was also a problem initially) I now get a window stating

"Please wait while Windows configures Roxio Media Experience" over and over again. Another window then asks me to exit the Roxio Media Home and the program of course then shuts down completely. I'm frustrated.

In addition to "Please wait while Windows configures Roxio Media Experience"

I have: "Easy Media Creator 9 Suite.msi cannot be found.

Also:" The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."

Where can I find help.

 

 

It's 3-1/2 months after your post, which I stumbled upon searching for solution to the same problem around Halloween time. I found some solutions I have not yet tried. If you have not solved it by now, see how they work for you. Or if you have solved it, let me know how you did it.
