Error burning DVD

Question

I will encounter blue screen while i'm making compatible DVD/CD with codes like 0x0000000A,0x0000007E etc. I have not make any major changes in my comp. I'm using Sonic DLA ,OEM version preinstalled by Dell on my Dimesion 5100 computer.

Checking those two error numbers in google, I get

"STOP 0x0000007E" error message after you upgrade to Windows XP

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330182

Troubleshooting a Stop 0x0000000A error in Windows XP

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314063

The Dimesion 5100, from 2005, presumably came with WinXP already intalled, leading me to wonder if something in the system was changed ...

Do you have Microsoft's auto-update turned on? That would've downloaded IE 7 and WinPlayer 11, causing changes deep in the Operating System. A lot of software has been broken by that devilish duo, and the answer is to either rollback to IE 6 and WinPlayer 10, or get Vista-compatible replacement software.
