Importing Discus RE files into Disc Cover

Bobg4

Question

As a previous owner of Toast 6 and Toast 7, the add on feature of Discus RE was very handy in printing CD to Memorex stick on lables to identify the CDs/DVDs. I have a collection of these saved lables in a folder.

Now that I upgraded to Toast 8 there is a new program Disc Cover which provides capability to print directly to CD without having to print to the Memorex stick on labels.

Is there a way of importing those Discus Label files into Disc Cover--or exporting Discus RE files into Disc Cover. I have already upgraded to the full version of Disc Cover.

When I tried to select the Discus files on my stored folder from Disc Cover, the files are "grey out".

I very much doubt this is possible. However, consider buying the full version of Discus 4 from Magic Mouse to get that application's version that burns directly to discs on supported printers. I bought it. There should be some discount for RE version users.

Response:

I have already updated Disc Cover RE to the full boxed version and installed version 1.4 from BeLight Software.

This is precisely why I am asking the question.

I am able to open and use the "Jpg files" from a scanned or imported file from Discus RE into the Disc Cover graphic and save the completed file in Disc Cover. Howver in Discus RE, I have also added text and that file is saved within the Discus RE format.

I can not get this completed Discus RE format imported into Disk Cover.

I am looking for a solution to this.
