Encoding Problems

I am unable to complete my DVD project. I am using MyDVD Express, and when I click on "Create Disc", a screen pops up showing the progress of the burn... except there is no progress. It says that it is encoding the movie, but it is actually not doing anything. When I click "Cancel", my task manager informs me that the program isn't responding. In order to close the window, I need to end the program with the task manager.

 

I've tried reinstalling the software, but the same problem happens.

 

 

Help?

 

Is there an update I should be aware of? I couldn't even find this software on the list of available programs for updates.

Most of us prefer to skip the simplified versions like Express and use MyDVD instead.

 

The V9 is very dependent on your Video Card and DirectX to work! If you list your PC specs for those it may help us to suggest a course of action.

If by "no progress" you mean it show 0% progress, then update your video card drivers. If not, then please post back with the info asked for.
