Audio Capture issues

I can't get the audio capture function to work. I get to the setup screen fine....but the drop-down menu from which I am told to select my sound card is empty ... there are no options from which to choose, and I am unable to enter any of my own. What can I do?

You didn't say what sound card or chip you have in the computer but check the audio card maker's website for updated drivers

 

Also make sure that the input controls aren't muted on the volume control properties

Another possibility is that you're using Vista and this is the problem.Audio and Vista is a major problem because of the way Microsoft changed the way that Vista handles sound.

If you are running Vista then that's probably the problem and is not a problem with Roxio but a problem with Vista.

Thanks! Even though the driver was current as of last october, it evidently needed updating. It now works.
