out of range

Question

When I tried to burn or copy a data disk, a window popped up stating I need to set my resolutioin to 1024 x 768- Since, that's what I had set, I clicked OK. Immediately - the screen went to "out of range" and I can't get the monitor back.

I tried rebooting-disconnecting, reconnecting, repair via Windows XP disk and it's the same.

How can I get my monitor back?

Monitor works fine on other computer. This was caused by Roxio.

Your monitor can't handle the resolution needed to run the program and that's not the program's fault - it does require 1024 x 768

To revert to the old 800 x 600 settings, boot in safe mode and reset the screen display (right click on the desktop, go to properties, settings and reset it there)
