help with dmsm conversion

I just need to know how to convert this dmsm file to mpeg. I tried the output, but it was all weird. I recorded with a PVR and i wasnt sure if anyone knew a site to download a prog with an option to conv dmsm to mpeg. I need to uploa d.

.dmsm is a Videowave production files. All you need to do is 'Output As' (icon that looks like a reel). Then choose any of the MPEG FOR DVD options. This will render any edits you have done to MPEG 2.

 

.dmsm has NO video in the file. It's just a 'to do list' for the final render.

Ok thanks. But all im getting when i click the output is a lost file.

?????? lost file? That dialog box is fairly straight forward. You choose the folder and type in a filename then click 'Create Video File' button. I suggest writing down where you selected the folder if you can't remember.

You didn't happen to move the file, which you used to create your .dmsm production, to another folder, did you? If you did, that is your problem. It has to stay in the same location as when you started on the project.

 

I don't think this is the case, but I have to ask.
