Video Diagnosis

Billy150

Question

As others have posted, I have video diagnosis failed prob. (Win XP home) on Creator 9. My Compaq s6300sx has 64mb video ram allocated. I understand that is integrated mother bd video. One suggestion was to upgrade to Direct x 9 c, which I have had for some time now.

Anyone with other thoughts except buying a separte video card would be appreciated. Thx in advance. Bill

Update the drivers for your video chip (from the manufacturer, not MS Updates).

You didn't note whether the app will open or not after the message. If it does, try setting the rendering to Software instead of Hardware.

If it won't open, and updated video drivers doesn't work, then your only other option is to get a video card.

Thanks Larry, The app won't open, so no software help. Video card time.
