mbuckner
Hello, Is anyone running EMC 7 and EMC 9 on the same machine? If so, are there any conflicts? If they will not fight each other, how do you install EMC 9 without removing EMC 7? Best regards, Mike

For starters, you can't have IE7 installed or V7 won't work. It's also a good idea not to have Windows Media Player 11 with v7. And, of course, Drag to Disc or any other packet writing program, can only have 1 existence on the machine but it is the opinion of many to remove it completely anyway. Best regards, Mike I am running EMC 7 and EMC 9, but to get all programs in both versions, to run properly, you have to uninstall EMC 7 before installing EMC 9. Do the clean install method, as outlined in the following: http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=24606 Once you do that, and reboot, install EMC 9 and Content, go through the necessary reboots, make sure EMC 9 is up and running correctly, then install EMC 7. BTW, prior to installing EMC 9, make a separate folder for it under Program Files/Roxio. Otherwise, EMC 9 clutters up the Roxio folder bigtime. I made a folder, called it EMC 9, and installed the software to that folder.
