music is there, but no sound (volume)?

Question

This is my second slideshow (I used videowave and added 1000 jpgs, then added music to fill the same amt of time) and it worked the first time. Then I imported the file into My DVD, added chapters and it worked great.

This time, I've done the same thing - imported the *dmsm file into My DVD and while the music shows up on the timeline, there is no volume to it - any ideas?

Thanks so much - this is my first post and I've got two more DVDs (total of 3500+ jpgs) to finish before family reunion...

First thing I'd check is that the sound file does not just contain silence.

As you're seeing a timeline after loading the .dmsm file into MyDVD, I take it you selected the movie and selected to edit it (i.e. you are actually in Videowave). select the sound file, right click on it click edit, to open the audio editor. Does it show a sound pattern or just a straight green line?

If you open the .dmsm project directly in Videowave, does the sound file play there?

You could also try delete the sound file and then add it again from the original source file.

Also worth checking (sound silly I know, but surprising how often that happens). You have not muted the sound accidentally, either in Videowave or your master volume)?
