pompeybird
Hi I am very new to this and don't know if I am posting this in the right place, so apologies if not. I have just purchased Roxio Photo Suite and Videowave Premier Suite 8. My intention is to simply transfer dv which has been brought in via firewire to dvd but the quality I have got is not good. Has anyone managed to get a decent quality doing this? Thank you very much for any assistance.

I think the default may not be the best quality. Then only put one hour onto the DVD. Now the quality won't be as good as if you connect your camcorder to a TV, but it should be pretty close. It also depends on the quality (resolution/ effective pixels) that your camcorder is able to record.
