Certificate files

I have a problems and I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been making DVDs for over a year using creator 8 and all of a sudden it was telling me you can not edit until all missimg files are found. I had no idea what was going on so eventually I uninstalled the whole program and reinstalled it. Now it won't even let me open any of the DVDs I've done in the past. It now says Certificate file is either missing or corrupt Please reinstall it - but if I try to install it it tells me it is already installed. So I went in and backed my computer up to 3 weeks ago before I ever had any problems. It still wont' let me do anything, just sayus certificate file is either missing or corrupt please reinstall. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this.
