Just for information - the browser of choice for most of us here is Mozilla Firefox. That gives the tabbed browsing but none of the problems associated with IE7

Well, I LOVE Firefox but one of the first things I did was install Tab Killer! OMG, tabs drive me nuts!!!

But using FF doesn't mean that IE still isn't installed on a computer.

Never said it did kill off IE7 - just that I chose to deselect that from 'critical updates' (and doze update moans every time I connect but I ignore it).

Sure it needs to be uninstalled, but that wasn't my point - I said that IF the OP liked tabbed browsers, then that's the one of choice.

I switched to FF years ago mostly because of tabs. To each his own but tabs are the best thing to happen to browsers IMO.

You can still do tabbed browing with Internet Explorer 6 if you download a tool like the Yahoo toolbar which allows tabbed browsing. I use both IE 6 and FireFox. Some sites don't like FF though.

I use Maxthon for tab browsing in IE 6 myself (there's some things I do that reqires IE unfortunately) when I need to use IE. It seems less intrusive to me as compared to Yahoo and some of the others.

My main and 99% used browser is still FF2.

I am having the same problem. I hope someone can tell us the solution. I have several camcorder movies I want to make into DVDs.

I just found this on the site - It is a Roxio response. I think it was posted last Oct.

"As of now it appears that internet explorer causes problems with the DVD Builder application included in EMC 7. Apparently titles are unable to be added to the project. The only resolution that we know of at this point is to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 (revert back to IE 6). It is unlikely that a patch will be issued to correct this as this version of EMC is already 2 versions behind our current release.

EMC 9 is fully compatible with the final version of IE 7....."

Looks like we have to go back to IE6 or upgrade to Roxio 9.
