I have been trying to burn a DVD-R with data with no luck. The error messages I have been receiving are:
Sense Key = Hardware Error
Sense Code = 0x44
Internal Target Failure
then the next error straight after the first:
Sense Key = Medium Error
Sense Code = 0x11, 0x05
L-EC Unrecoverable Error
then after pressing ok the following error
sense key = Illegal Request
Sense code = 0x21, 0x02
Buffer Underrun
then when I tried again:
sense key = Blank Check
Sense code = 0x00
No additional sense info
then when I pressed ok
sense key = Illegal Request
Sense code = 0x21, 0x02
Buffer Underrun
I have a Power Mac G5 with PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-106D
I have Toast 7.1.2
It burns fine on CD-R/CD+R/DVD+R but does not want to work with DVD-R (all Imation)
When I burn using the finder and not Toast it burns but then when I try re mount the DVD after burning and ejecting, it will not mount. It automaticall just ejects the DVD. Which I find odd as after burning it mounts but when I eject the disk and insert it again it will not mount.
