Hi! I bought the Cineplayer online last night. Unfortunately, I wasn't just 5 minutes away from seeing my DVD. How do you launch the Cineplayer?
Today, I contacted Roxio for help. I tried everything that Adam suggested in our live chat. I have the newest Windows Media Player (11), installed the newest Direct X from Windows, and then re-installed the Cineplayer. No luck in seeing any picture.
I also tried to set the monitor according to the guidelines in the following article that Adam recommended:
In it, the instructions are clear, until it says "launch Cineplayer" and follow further instructions. I can't figure out how to launch the Cineplayer. Please help. I'm frustrated that it's so difficult to see a DVD on this computer. It runs Windows XP professional edition.
I've already set the screen resolution, the color, and the refresh rate, as the article above suggests. It's getting to the Cineplayer and then going to "settings," the "video" tab and unchecking "enable hardware accelleration" that I can't get to.
When I look in the start menu, under "all programs" the Cineplayer doesn't show up. However, it's under add/remove hardware.
Thanks for any help. It's just one little step that seems to keep me from seeing a DVD. . .
