Cine Player and MYDVD Crash

czech_boi

Question

I have tried to play a dvd with cine player and it hangs for a second then tries to open a internet window which then says internet explorer can not open the page and then it crashes, i have registered cine player 3.4 and 3.2 but still doesnt work i have also tried to run mydvd and it asks for mpeg 2 activation, i click okay and get the same internet explorer box that fails and then videowave 9 crashes and shuts down, i have tried doing the offline registration but that does not work, instead of activating offline it trys ie and crashes

roxio will not let me play dvd's in wmp11 anymore when i try and play a dvd in wmp11 i get an error message cannot find file Windows/system32/SAR_HTML_9/activation.htm?Exe=wmplayer.exe

i click the ok error and another IE window opens and crashes

this is really frustrating as both programs were working perfectly

i appreciate any feedback

Unless you have Vista, roll back IE 7 to IE 6 (if you are running IE 7) and roll back WMP 11 to WMP 9 or 10. These have been known to cause problems for some people with XP.
