When I got my first dvd burner it came with a version of nero that allowed me to create cd's , dvd. along with it came backitup. . In backitup I was able to tell it which directories and files I wanted to back up to a cd, dvd or drive.

 

It seems in Roxio that we have no choice as I can find no place in the backup program to tell it to include a directory or file in a specific place. Please tell me I'm wrong. if not I've wasted money on a product from the stone age as no one uses the defaults in windows

Don't know if you're using BackUp My PC or Roxio Backup but either way you have the choice of what files to add.

In Roxio Backup if you start a new project that's when you add the files.

In BUMP if you start the backup wizard that's the first thing you do.You click on back up selected files and then you choose them.

Maybe a look at the help files will show you how in whichever app you're using.
