Upgrading to Videowave 8

I purchased/downloaded the upgrade to Videowave 8, when Videowave 7 no longer was able to work after the IE and WMP issues that everyone else seems to also be having. But when I started the install it told me that "You must install Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 before installing the content". I didn't see anything regarding that when reading thru the requirements and don't have any version of the Creator software installed on this machine. Is it really required for version 8? Creator is apparently not required for version 7 as it was working fine before my IE and WMP upgrades.

I think I missed the forest for the trees!!!

 

There are 2 different downloads, the Program and the Content.

 

You must install the Program first, only then can you install the Content.

 

Not sure exactly what they are named but you should be able to sort it out.

You should also be aware that IE7 and WMP11 also have a deleterious effect on EMC8 - best to uninstall both of those if you installed them
