i am having a problem with my sonic my dvd plus v6.2.0 which came preinstalled on my hp media center edition computer. when you try to open the program from all programs i get this message: the feature you are trying to use is on a cd-rom that is unavailable please insert the cd rom and click ok. cant do that since i never had a install disk. further investigation found that i no longer have the msi file on my c or d recovery partition. does anyone know where i can get these files and how to install so that my program works normally. it only works if i open it with the exe file at present. stv357.

Since it came with your pc from HP, you need to contact HP about getting a copy of it. You have their OEM version of the software.

Newbie,

You wouldn't still have a copy of MyDVD 6.2? I also have an HP media center pc in which I need to reinstall to get access to old archived files.
