mmace
I have been spoiled. usually SS Scott replies to a message almost right away. There doesn't seem to be any support I submitted something probably over a month ago now and have received no reply, another member on here has had no reply from support either. We're lucky Scott replies on here otherwise there would be no support for this software at all, which is quite apauling. I don't even know why they have the option to allow you to ask for support through their web site if they won't even acknowledge you have asked anything! ggrussell
msconfig - is normally used to stop background apps from loading at boot up. Seems like every company wants to load something these days that stays in memory. PX Engine is the Sonic burning engine I think. Here is the link to the latest version. The only burning apps that 'may' conflict are packet writers like Nero InCD or Roxio's Drag to Disc. I have found those to be very unreliable anyway and never install them. Guest ivanatrox
mmace, what is your support ticket number? On July 20th After TomInIowa made his post, I made sure that all DVDIt! related tickets are replied (there were about 20 of them) that day. If your ticket was never answered, I would like to know the ticket number and find out why. Thanks Ivan
TOTG
"Try different brand of media" That means try a different manufacturer, I.E. Verbatim.

If your ticket was never answered, I would like to know the ticket number and find out why. Thanks Ivan I apologise, my ticket was closed, I didn't realise I had to check the site, I thought I would be emailed # 404558 this was the reply to my problem: Try these steps for: Burning issue * msconfig * px engine * Clear temps (%temp% and temp) * Try different brand of media * Check for Previous versions and check for other burning software is it just me or are there no actual steps there? what do I do with msconfig? what's a px engine and what do I do with one? temp files are always cleaned out to save space the folders were being burnt to the HDD, not to a BD Of course I have other burning software installed, who doesn't? the support ticket was closed even though nothing was solved! my question was: I keep getting the following error, if I click Yes then it creates the disc but most of the buttons in the menu don't work DBWrapper.dll::Warning---Only an illegal EP_map can be made. Do you continue? \nES_type[Video]\nPID:[1011.cpi] the project is 11 hi-def video files, 1 menu created in DVDit with their buttons and the text tool. I have just reopened it and will keep an eye on it being answered/closed now I know that's what will happen cheers

SS Scott
I am not support, I manage the development the product. my time here helps me sort through bugs and see how people are using DVDit Pro HD. That I help people work through issues is really a byproduct of that.
