roxio easy creator 9 upgrade fails?

have OEM version of creator 9 SE. bought upgrade (ran creator 9 se and asked inside program for upgrade, it provided a discount at roxio.com and I paid for it). this resulted in a download of 334mb file called 2006EZS0R03_ContentCDv9[1].1.exe

 

I installed it but still do not have any advanced features.

 

It never asked for the license key either.

 

 

any ideas?

p.s. yes, reboot was asked for and taken

also, in control panel - add remove programs, both "se" and "content" show in program list

also, running roxio works but lots of grayed out functions. the one I seek is to write DVD's in advanced resolution (other than default of 320x...)

You should have had two downloads - one is Program (R03_EMCSuitev9.1efigsd.exe) and is 608 MB and that installs before content.

 

I haven't heard of 'content' being offered on its own

 

You will have to completely uninstall the SE version before installing Program tho
