how do I put music on a photo cd?

lynnie64

Question

I just bought Creator 9 with the understanding that I would be able to put background music on a photo cd. I tried the "multimedia cd" feature and added the photos and the music I wanted, but when I played it back there was only photos.

Does Creator 9 have this capability? And if so, can someone please tell me how to do it?

Take a look at Videowave and you can make a slide show complete with music, transitions and effects.

Thanks Paul! That is just what I need....looks like it will be great. I am just having a small problem though, that maybe you can help me with. I have all my photos on there, but when I go to add the audio files I have a problem.

I use itunes for all my music files. When I locate the folder that has these songs, it tells me "No media files in this folder match the filter settings. To change the filter settings, click the filter for media types button."

I can not FIND this button anywhere. (Also, I can not understand why MP3 files would not work?) If you can help me change the filter settings (I have looked everywhere and can't find it!) or if you know of a way I can get my itunes songs to work on this video slideshow I will be SO grateful!! I have been messing with this for about 2 hours now and am getting tired of it....I am so glad for digital gurus such as you. :-)

Thanks so much for your help!

iTunes files won't work thanks to the magic of DRM. They're copyprotected. Any copy protected file will not work in EMC.

I should also let you know that you'll get much better quality using a dvd instead of a cd for your project. If you have a dvd burner, you will be much happier with the final outcome.

That is crazy....all I am doing is using them on a personal CD project. (What is EMC?)

Oh, that figures they would do that to us though, even though we pay for them!

Thanks for the info on the DVD. I do have a dual drive, so I will use the DVD one for my project for better quality....thanks for the advice!

EMC is Easy Media Creator which is a number of applications together that handle everything from audio, video and photo projects (and more).

I'm not sure exactly what you have as there are so many OEM versions floating around.
