Images Drops When Burning to DVD

DJBahilman

Question

I gather this is a common problem. I have created a slideshow (300 slides, 8 audio music files, totalling 28 minutes) in VideoWave, and when I attempt to burn the project to DVD using VideoWave, multiple slides show up as blank black screens, both during the preview and on the finished DVD. After browsing this forum, I tried to move the project to MyDVD but had the same problem. I then tried to just burn the project to an .iso file, but in preview it appeared to still be skipping images, so I bailed.

I'm using a 2 year-old P4 ( I think) with Windows XP. I have run antivirus software, re-booted, etc. What do I need to do next?

Respect and Thanks-

Make sure you have updated Directx9 to the latest, and update the drivers for your video adapter (from the video adapter makers site, not from MS).

Larry-

Big Ups to you for the quick and useful reply. I updated Directx9 and my video adapter drivers and was able to burn the .iso file to a DVD-RW beautifully. I initially wasn't able to burn the .iso file to a DVD-R (I kept getting an error about it being an incompatible disk) but once I updated my burner's firmware I had no

problems.

Thanks again-
