Extracting a tiltle from a DVD or folder set

I want to pull off a part of something I did a while ago - I save backups of what I've done as folder sets, and get rid of the individual titles (to save space). I've sucessfully extracted the titles of interest before, but for the life of me I no longer recall how I did it.

 

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Folders sets? So maybe you brought in vob files to Videowave and edited out unwanted parts and output it as, for example, mpg file?

Thank you - I happened to pull in the ifo file, and selected from the list, but same idea - I should write this down - since I don't seem to remember from one time to the next.
