.cue + .mp3 - NO .bin?

Hi,

 

I've got a few disks separated to an mp3 and a cue file. If I try to make a copy using the cue file, Toast tells me the bin file isn't there, which is correct because it's an mp3.

 

Is there a way to have a cue file 'point' to an mp3 file and separate it properly?

Just curious. Have you tried changing the .mp3 extension to .bin in the Finder to see if that could work?

I hadn't, but just did and Toast 'knows'.

 

I get the 'not a valid bin/cue file message.
