Choppy audio in videowave production

Jaime72

Question

I am having a problem with videowave productions and audio. This is a transient problem that may have just begun with a new 512mg nvidia card. I have a core duo with 2gb ram and vista 32. All current drivers and patches.

I have recorded several large (12gb) tv files in windows dvr-ms format. I add them to videovave and they are converted to mpeg. The sound for the first 1.5-2 hours is great, than it is choppy city. What is going on??? I have tried reconverting over and over without success.

Ideas?

Yes, I have the most current video drivers as well.

Funny thing is, the actual converted Mpeg file is clean. If I play it in WMP or another player the sound is fine. If I import that mpeg into videowave it becomes choppy. Seems like a sync issue somewhat, though the Roxio hotfix for that doesn't help.
