RoxyReddy
I was successfully using Creator 6 to manage my all my music files via the Library function and all are stored under "My Music" folders in Windows. Following what appears to be a file corruption problem I lost some of the Roxio links and only a small number would load into the Library set up. I reloaded Creator 6 a number of times but nothing helped. How do I reconnect files stored in Windows into Roxio. I then gave up on Creator 6 and upgraded to Creator 9. I thought when I upgraded to Creator 9 that it would just pick up all the "My Music" files and load them up like the I Music one does. In addition, to my shock, Creator 9 is unrecognisable from Creator 6! Is there a linkage instruction to take me from using Creator 6 to Creator 9 - music libary management is my main requirement. tbrewst
In v9 this is done by Media Manager. You can see it by looking at your toolbar and looking for the little Roxio symbol.Or you can look under Start,EMC9 and then maybe Organize (I'm at a v8 machine right now). If you open the task bar icon it will show you a watched folders list, make sure where you are storing your data is checked as being a watched folder. It's different than v6.It's not the same as Audio central where you actually have a library.MM will give you an Explorer type view when you go to add tracks.
