I recently bought Suite 9 downloadable version on ebay. Severl problems:

1. Does not read my external hard drive where i have my material (pic's and videos). Yes reads the few things I have in hard drive C

2. Visual C++runtime error! Roxwatchtray9.ex

3. R6025 PURE VIRTUAL FUNTION CALL

4. I reainstall the product and clicked repair, now i can not open it because it says THE TRIAL VERSION OF THIS PRODUCT HAS EXPIRED. Of course it is not a trial version.

Could you please help me? I am smart user able to follow instructions easy.

I was getting a similar error with VideoWave, and some other options weren't starting. Then it dawned on me that I'd killed the RoxMediaDB9 service and set it to disabled. Once I went in and started it back up, the C++ Runtime error went away, and all the other options started as the should. So, take a look for that and see if you've disabled or stopped it.

Hope that helps!

First time posting a thread...

I had the same problem. Called tech support and this is what they had me do.

1. Go to Start

2. Run

3. Type in msconfig and select okay

4. System Config Utility opens

5. Select Startup Tab

6. Uncheck DMX Launcher and RoxWatchTray9 (if not on Startup Tab try Service Tab)

7. Click on Apply

8. Close application and restart computer

9. Upon restart there should be a pop up dialog box, check the "do not show again" box.

Technician said some computers are having problems with this portion of the Roxio EMC9.

This fix cleared me up for two dvd copies but now I'm getting an "unspecified error 0x13730401". Might be caused by the cheap GQ dvds from Fry's.
